At the age of 5, Sandy Littman became interested in lighting and design while “working” at her father’s lighting factory. Amazed by the sculptural metal forms of the components, she found the parts more interesting than the fluorescent fixtures they were to become. It was at that age she discovered how much she loved looking at beautiful things and imagining how to create them.
Trained as an Architect I enjoy making perfect objects. Here at our workshop, we get to try many things to see what will become beautiful. It is really thrilling when something pases the test. Whether you succeeded or failed the process is instructive for your future designs.
I make lighting that doubles as art. They are sculptures and conceived of as art pieces. I love working in LED. It is a perfect lightsource. These are hand finished pieces, of glass and real metal not plated or faux finishes.
Our designs need to be classic and investment grade. Anything we build should never be dated and never go out of style. I only make what I want to buy.
