Kéramos

French
Kéramos is a French ceramic studio that was founded in 1948 by a group of artists and craftsmen who shared a passion for traditional pottery techniques. The studio is located in the town of Sarreguemines, in the northeastern region of France, and is known for its production of high-quality stoneware and earthenware pieces.

Kéramos' ceramics are characterized by their earthy tones, simple shapes, and understated designs. The studio's artisans use traditional pottery techniques like throwing, molding, and glazing to create their pieces, and often incorporate decorative elements like hand-painted designs, relief patterns, or stamped marks.

Over the years, Kéramos has collaborated with several renowned artists and designers, including Georges Jouve, Roger Capron, and Jacques Blin. The studio's pieces are highly regarded by collectors and are represented in several major museum collections, including the Musée National de Céramique in Sèvres, France, and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
