Line Vautrin

Line Vautrin was a French artist born in 1913 to a family of metalworkers. By the age of 14 she was casting, and gilding bronze and it remained her metal of choice throughout her career. She created gilded and silvered buttons, boxes compacts, jewelry and decorative objects. She opened her own progressive atelier in Marais, France shortly after World War II. Line Vautrin jewelry mirrors and decorative items remain popular and highly sought today.
