Theodore Pantos
Greek, 1932 - 2013
Theodore Pantos was born in Athens in 1932.
He studied drawing and painting with Tassos Loukidis (1947-1950), decorative arts at the Athens School of Fine Arts and at the E.N.S.A.I.T. of Roubaix (1950-1955). He is a member of Chamber of Fine Arts of Greece .
His first solo exhibition was organized in 1954 at the Galerie PARENTHOU in Roubaix.
Since then he has organized about 35 individual in Greece (Athens, Piraeus, Thessaloniki, Volos, Larissa, Corinth, Mykonos), in France (Paris, Roubaix), in Germany (Munich, Donauvert, Karlsruhe, Düsseldorf, Hamburg, Landsburg), in Hansburg. Π.Α. (New York, Washington D.C., Los Angeles). Retrospective exhibition at the TITANIUM gallery in 1992 and 2010-11.
He has taken part in group exhibitions in France, Greece, Italy, Germany, Belgium, USA and in the 4th BIENNALE DE PARIS (1965) with sets and costumes.
He died in Athens peacefully in 2013
