Yoshitoshi Mori

Japanese, 1898 - 1992
Born in 1898 in Tokyo, Yoshitoshi Mori is a Japanes woodblock printmaker and artist. He trained at the Kawabata School of Fine Arts and worked as a textile designer and dyer of kimono fabrics. He made his first print when he wa 60 years old and his style is considered modern. Mori passed in 1992. Yoshitoshi Mori woodblock prints & art remain popular today.
