1 Volume. Aesop, The Fables. Signed Limited Edition. Bound by Sangorski & Sutcliffe in full orange morocco. The covers display gilt-tooled floral details and a scene depicting animals in the wild in multi-color inlay. The spine displays raised bands, floral panel details, and label lettering, all gilt-tooled. The top edge is gilded with watered silk endpapers, gilt-tooled turn-ins, and watered silk doublures. This edition is limited to 750 copies, numbered and signed by the artist, of which this is no. 118. Illustrated with 25 drawings by Edward J. Detmold. Published by Hodder & Stoughton in London, 1909.
