4 Volumes. Percy MacQuoid, History of English Furniture. Bound in 3/4 wine morocco and linen boards, bordered in gilt tooling, Raised bands, dotted in gilt tooling with panels displaying bordering central floral details, and label lettering, all gilt-tooled. The top edge is gilt with marbled endpapers. Includes plates in color after Shirley Slocombe and numerous illustrations selected and arranged by the author. Published by The Medici Society, Ltd. in conjunction with Lawrence & Bullen, Ltd. in London, 1925.
