8vo (21 x 14 cm, 8.25 x 5.5 in); ownership inscription in pen crossed-out on front free endpaper, 4 colour illustrations including frontispiece, second plate with lower right corner folds; contemporary calf binding, gilt stamped scene to upper cover, spine gilt in compartments with raised bands, all edges gilt, spine slightly faded.
