Description 18K Gold Art Deco altar or tryptique table clock, the dial appearing when the doors open to reveal black enamel Roman numerals within a stylized oriental frame décor enamelled black. The square silver dial with “chemin de fer” for the minutes’ indexes, blued steel hands. The dial signed CARTIER and BREVETE (patented). Rectangular black onyx top and base. The 18K gold frame enamelled with a black line décor. The platinum clasp set with rose-cut diamonds. The movement is accessed by opening the doors in the back.
