Gold and pearl circular table clock in the manner of Fabergé
Russian, 20th Century
Height 11cm, width 11cm, depth 9cm
This circular shaped table clock is created in the manner of Fabergé. The surface of the clock has been finished with exquisite guilloché enamel, the circular outer edge of which being framed by a gold foliate band. The dial, inscribed with Arabic numerals, is set within a gold mount and an encompassing beading of pearls. The dial is surmounted by a gold crown, while below the dial the surface is mounted with gold crossed laurel branches. The movement of the clock is stamped with spurious Fabergé marks. -
