FRENCH 19TH CENTURY HAND CARVED OAK WALL CLOCK

Description
A special little French wall clock, made at the end of the 19th century. This mechanical wall clock keeps perfect time provided it is periodically wound and hung levelly. The face is porcelain, with hand-painted Roman numerals. It is protected behind domed glass that is encircled by the expertly carved oak in a twisted ribbon motif.
