Description The present clock is of extremely rare design. During this time frame the most elite design firms joined forces to combine creative innovation in design with the most intricate master skills of enameling to produce gorgeous very special fantasy object pieces such as the present miniature desk clock being offered today.

The present clock sits at approximately 29.5 x 9 x 8.2 cm and extraordinarily is signed by one of the most important watchmakers of their time frame, a firm known as Vallette.
Other pieces made by this master watchmaker range from 25,000 to 250,000.00 with the recent auction results lists below of some other examples of this firms creations.

The enamel is in gorgeous condition as well given its nearly 200 year old age and shows very little signs of wear. The movement and clock which is concealed in the center of the harp and lifts up, is also in perfect working condition and has been recently serviced so it tells the time perfectly.

Furthermore, the lack of damage to the enameling exterior and underside as well as the firm hinge and sharp hallmarks indicate that this piece was extremely well cared for through the years.

The enamel scenes are erotic in nature as well and there are multiple scenes which are unique to each example produced. There have only been a few examples of such clocks ever created as each one was a special ordered creation during this time frame. The current clock reveals a topless woman and man on the back post of the harp as well as an additional scene of the couple secretly hidden under the base side. Additionally, there are two other scenes hand painted along the base with floral motif and interesting one enamel scene hidden under the carriage of the movement of a European city building.
The clock is beautiful and overall a very rare piece of artwork, sculpture and timepiece craftsmanship from the mid to late 19th century.
