Handblown glass vase from "Bands" series, model 15183, with zanfirico and dimples by Anzolo Fuga for Arte Vetraria Muranese (A.V.E.M.), Murano Italy, ca. 1960.

AVEM, Arte Vetraria Muranese, Artistic Production 1932-72 by Marc Heiremans and published by Arnolsche in 2020, a photo of this model vase is shown on page 135 and an archival photo of this series is shown on page 230, bottom.

Provenance: Evan Lobel purchased these pieces directly from A.V.E.M. in 2001 as part of a large collection of pieces stored there from the 1940’s, 1950’s and 60’s.
