Description Set of three handblown "Transennati" (Barriers) vases with rods and murrhines designed by Anzolo Fuga for Arte Vetraria Muranese (A.V.E.M.), Murano Italy, ca. 1962.

Literature: Anzolo Fuga: Murano Glass Artist, Designs for A.V.E.M. by Rosa Barovier-Mentasti, Acanthus Press, a similar piece is illustrated on page 178. Rosa Baoriver-Mentasti knew Fuga personally and spent 2 years researching the book with full access to the A.V.E.M. archive. It is the definitive monograph on Fuga's work.
