Hand-blown glass vases from the “Murrine Incatenate” series, model 14283, with multicolor murrhines and zanfirico designed by Anzolo Fuga for Arte Vetraria Muranese (A.V.E.M.), Murano Italy, c.1959.

AVEM, Arte Vetraria Muranese, Artistic Production 1932-72 by Marc Heiremans and published by Arnolsche in 2020, There is a photo of this model with the original drawing showing the model number on page 112.
Provenance: Evan Lobel purchased these pieces directly from A.V.E.M. in 2001 as part of a large collection of pieces stored there from the 1940’s, 1950’s and 60’s. -
