Description Though the form of this planter is typical of a Roman cinerary urn, the style of the carving is Neo-Assyrian, most likely dating from the 19th century and inspired by the publication of Austen Henry Layard's texts on his excavations at Nineveh. It is carved out of one piece of stone, with a single drainage hole.
