Wind chime/bell mobile designed by architect, Paolo Soleri for Arconsanti (the city he designed and built in Arizona in 1970).
The peaked conical ceramic hat suspends five clay acorn-form wind bells with various hand-incised decorations and multi-color pigmented, diamond-form fins.
Late 1970s/early 1980s production branded with the Arconsanti cypher and retaining the vintage studio tag.
Excellent, vintage condition with light shelf wear consistent with age/slight bends to the fins (this example was never used outdoors - it was part of a collection of old stock from an antique retailer).
