Mid 20th Century Japanese hand crafted silver yacht, presented in its original glass case and wooden plinth. The item has been beautifuly crafted to the last detail, portraying a yacht sailing on choppy waters, a perfect ornamet for nautical enthusiast. Hallmarked sterling 960, Base silver plated, Maker Seki Takehiko, born in 1908, in 1922 moved to Tokyo to become the apprentice of silversmith, Tajima Katsuyuki. Seki perfected his art under master Kosaka Munehiro, and established himself as a bona-fide silversmith in 1936.
