Condition Good. One head has been off/on, one vase with minor repair and some fingers off/on invisibly repaired. Once French-mounted as lamps so each has a small hole in the base to secure to lamp fitting.

Description Chinese Export Porcelain Pair of Maiden Candlesticks,
Circa 1760-75

A pair of large Chinese Export figures of standing maidens holding gu-form vases as candle sconces, in “famille rose” enamels with robes painted with gilt and “famille rose” flowers and branches. Their hair in a high chignon and black enameled on the biscuit. There is a very slight difference between the two.
