Description
A Roman cast solid silver eagle, or ‘aquila’ figurine created around the 1st century AD. The eagle stands on the head of a bull, and is designed in a stylized fashion that accentuates the features of the animals, especially the feathers and the eyes. A very beautiful example of a roman eagle figurine.
