This enticing modernist mid-20th-century modern piece is an Italian sculpture Work of Art with the distinctive style of Italo Casini, a signed handled vase/jug. Some of Italo Casini's terracotta works have come into light with this same decorative technique of a telling rough volcanic lava finish in an organic brown moss green gray tint, enriched with enameled polychrome waved sail-shaped accents, in white, pink, light blue azur glaze. It is made precious with gold additions, creating glittering, shimmering reflections on the earthen surface.
