A Bakongo Fetish figure from the Belgian Congo. Wooden with a feathered headress, various skins, skulls, smaller fetishes and horns make up this fetish figure.
Fetish figures are seen as vessels of power that influence a persons destiny by invoking protective spirits to drive away evil spirits.
