Description

Monumental Italian Art Glass vase, one of a kind Work of Art by Alberto Donà, in blown Murano glass. The crystal overlaying body tinted with Alexandrite has violet purple and blue reflections, skillfully embraced by a turquoise aquamarine border and highlighted front and back with red, orange and pale yellow murrine expanded like in a modern painting. This piece is made precious by different Battuto hand-engraved techniques that give an exceptional decorative texture to this sculpture and by the addition of a sophisticated elongated neck. Mounted on a crystal clear Murano glass round base bearing the signature. Alberto Dona is recognized for the rare ability to blow oversized pieces and maestria in different intricate decorations all applied on the same piece.
