| Description | An ornamental pair of miniature 19th Century Japanese Satsuma lanterns These minuature Satsuma Toro (lanterns) depict scenes of ladies, wisteria and sparrows flying among the trees on the base and the windows of the lanterns. These are framed beautifully by fine bands of floral, geometric and foliate decoration. Signed: Awaiting mark reading Condition: Good although some damage to the inside neck of one of the lanterns.
