Description
Tall undulating bottle model 14341 from the “Murrine Incatenate” Series with red spiral and colorful murrines separated with white zanfirico spacers by Anzolo Fuga for Arte Vetraria Muranese or A.VE.M., Murano Italy 1959-60.

Anzolo Fuga: Murano Glass Artist, Designs for A.V.E.M. by Rosa Barovier-Mentasti, Acanthus Press, 2005, section titled "Murrine Incatenate" on page 122 with a description of the series and this piece is featured on the left hand side of page 130.

Evan Lobel purchased these pieces directly from A.V.E.M. in 2001 as part of a large collection of pieces stored there from the 1950’s and 60’s. -
