Description
Hand-blown vase with multicolor rods by Anzolo Fuga for AVEM (Arte Vetraria Muranese), Murano Italy, ca 1955. This is one of Fuga’s most recognized designs. As the master stained glass designer on Murano, he used multicolor rods against white glass to create windows around his pieces.

Provenance: Evan Lobel purchased this piece directly from A.V.E.M. in 2001 as part of a large collection of pieces stored there from the 1950’s and 60’s. -
