Description

Stunning custom-made, woven handbag with taurillon leather and hand-dyed cotton lining. Woven from thin strips of the outer bark of willow branches, chosen for their rich texture and their warm palette of browns, greens and coppery mahogany tones. The weaving technique, called éclisses sur champ, allows for an elegant, extremely fine weave. The undyed leather, used for the straps and drawstring closure, is tanned with a traditional process to avoid using harmful chemicals. Lined with fine quality 100% cotton, hand-dyed by Atelier Fra-Joséphine with La Tresseuse logo. This uniquely-designed bag makes an elegant carry-all.
