Disney Donald Duck Flexible Flyer Sled
1930's. It was made by 'S. L. Allen & Company, Inc., Philadelphia, Pa, Manufacturers of Flexible Flyer Sleds and Plant J Farm and Garden Tools' (see photo as this is on the bottom/underneath). The S.L. Allen Co. of Philadelphia produced character sleds for Disney from 1935 until 1940. All decoration is intact and the color is good. You'll note a crackle look to the original varnish and some of the metal. The two holes on the steering bar were used to pull the sled via a rope, Move fast to add this hard to find Disney collectible to your collection. The runners still have some of the red paint. Measures 36" long, 6" tall by , 20-3/4' wide with the steering bar. -
