Edgar Brandt, the foremost French iron master sculptor, inspired by the advance of early aviation, created this beautiful cigar ashtray around 1925. Hand hammered iron and cast bronze. Signed E. Brandt on the base. Heavy and large, even if you do not smoke this is a wonderful vide poche object, a convenient place to store your cufflinks or keys. Unused condition.
