Description
An English writing box made of beautiful rosewood, circa 1860, adorned with intricately detailed brass banding with brass-inlaid ogee symbol in the center of the lid. The box opens up to reveal a writing surface embellished with an elegant gilt design and having several hidden compartments for storing writing implements.
