FRENCH EARLY 20TH CENTURY OAK FOLDING LADDER

Sold Sold
  • Description
An exceptional antique folding ladder from 1900s France. The oak ladder has five steps that are graduated in size. When opened, the ladder measures 53 1/4″H. The lightly-toned oak used to construct the antique has taken a lovely patina over the years. The ladder is sturdy and functional, though there are limits to the weight it can support. It would make a fine library ladder or each step could be used as a small shelf on which you could display books, plants or other decorative objects.
