French Regence Copper Wine Urn

Description
Rare and substantial French early 18th century copper wine urn, the acanthus leaf decorated lid with pineapple finial, the gadrooned body with scrolled handles, the whole profusely chased and etched surface depicting classical motifs and having central cartouche with cherubs and noble family (as yet determined) crest, the whole finely worked and wonderfully patinated.
