    Wonderful Art Deco plaque of Minerva emerging from the flames, engraved by Gustave Miklos (1988-1967).
    These pieces were delivered to René Lemoine the administrator for the refinery of Port-Jérôme which opened in 1933 by the Standart Franco-American de raffinage (formerly sociéte Franco-American de raffinage). These rare bronze plaques designed by French sculptor Gustave Miklos were offered at the inauguration of the refinery: of the highest quality and rarity.
    Gustave Miklos was one of the most important sculptors in France of the 20th Century.
    Signed on front and marked bronze on bottom.
