Description Kinetically balanced abstract sculpture of bent wire with painted wooden spheres. Created circa 2010 by Jim Hunter. Essentially a maquette, as Hunter always thinks about scaling up to landscape size. Hunter (born 1963) studied advertising art on the west coast, becoming a graphic designer in Santa Barbara before moving to New York City to work for Sony as a graphic artist. As a full-time artist/sculptor, Hunter has studios in New York City and Sherman, CT.
