Karl Springer Large Hand-Blown White Scavo Glass Vase 1980s
-
Description
Large hand-blown glass vase, white scavo glass with serpentine coil wrapping around and decorative elements on sides, by Seguso Vetri d’Arte (Murano Italy) for Karl Springer, American 1980's. This form is quite rare. The scale of Springer’s hand-blown glass vases makes them exceptional. Seguso Vetri d’Arte executed Karl Springer’s hand-blown Murano glass pieces which were typically with a scavo finish.
