Country of Origin: Amazon Rain Forests of Brazil and Venezuela.
Woven by an unknown female Yanomami Indian of natural grasses, majagua fibre and mamure plant, Decorated with designs painted using masticated charcoal pigment. The Yanomami are an indigenous tribe believed to be the most primitive, culturally intact people in the world.
