Description

As an artistic practice, sculpture has always been striving to challenge and supersede its own traditions, and digital technologies have provided new tools and capabilities for pushing the boundaries of the medium, both in terms of concept and execution.
Here we present the Levitaz collection, created as a series which explores the essence of time and what it means to stand in a universe devoid of it. By freezing fabric shaped by dynamic forces at a given moment in time new patterns emerge which give rise to something that before might have been only transient. As this singular moment is frozen in time we are left free to gaze upon a universe in which for all intents and purposes time ceases to exist and the singular beauty of a unique instant is carried on for eternity.
