Description A beautiful large gilded bronze box by Line Vautrin. I lost my turtledove (J'ai perdu ma tourterelle) is a poem by Jean Passerat (1534-1602). Line Vautrin also known as "the poetess of metal" took over the writing of this poem to create this beautiful box in the 1950s. The cover takes the text and an engraving of the turtle dove seen from above on a long sheet.
