On offer for your consideration we have a miniature Meissen porcelain finch bird perched on a stone figurine.
This beautifully modeled and hand painted little bird shows the highest quality of the Meissen Porcelain Manufactory. The details of the painting is so fine most likely done with one hair brush. The piece has the under glaze cross sword mark and the incised number 3045 and 132.
A great example of the Meissen Porcelain Manufactory the first to produce porcelain in Europe since 1710. -
