Large Abstract Vintage Lucite Acrylic Mirror Sculpture by Michael Michaeledes

Offered for sale is a large acrylic and Lucite "Mirror" sculpture by the British sculptor and artist Michael Michaeledes. This sculpture is an optical arrangement of Acrylic and Lucite boxes that create great reflections within the boxes that play with the light. The sculpture is mounted on a Lucite base.

Michael Michaeledes (British, 1923–2015) was an artist, architect and poet. He was born in Nicosia, Cyprus in July 1923 and was raised in Egypt and Greece. He studied Architecture and Fine Arts in Milan, Italy and Central Polytechnic, London. He settled permanently in London in 1955, where he worked as an artist and also as an architect.
