Description
Ida Romers, born in 1937, was raised in Indonesia and was in a Japanese WWII camp, later coming to The Netherlands in 1946 (Indonesia was formerly the Dutch West Indies) after the war she worked in ceramics sculpting abstract shapes which still had some human form. She later turned her work to reflect nature exclusively.
