Description
Founded in 1902 as a modest metal-working manufactory in Bavaria, Germany, Bayerische Metall Fabrik (BMF) became an international manufacturer of high-quality and luxury design elements for the home. Created by BMF designers Nagel and Stoffi in the 1960s, this modular assemblage of candleholders represents a particularly ingenious offering. Since each holder can interlock with others to make a multiplicity of forms, the owner helps shape the final design. Its Brutalist statement emerges from the turned-metal intricacy of its spindled cylinders, and from the sheer mass of the sculptural result.
The size is customizable with the modular pieces** -
