On offer for your consideration we have a very unusual Art Nouveau pen tray in the shape of a bat.
This piece was designed and made in between 1900-1909 by Royal Copenhagen. The bat was used quite often during the Art Nouveau period through out Europe. The bat motif was used on porcelain like this pen tray, ceramics, decorative glass, bronzes and jewelry.
The quality of the porcelain is the best of Royal Copenhagen modeling. -
