Description
A striking blue enamel boullework box with elaborate brass inlay arabesques upon a Mother of Pearl background. Centering the top is a blank brass medallion shaped nameplate. The fall front interior in solid coromandel wood with working lock and key. Solid coromandel bottom as well, the box rests upon four turned coromandel feet. French circa 1850-1860.
