    BUD VASE ON HIMALAYAN QUARTZ

Studio Greytak’s Bud Vase on Himalayan Quartz puts the duality of love and passion on full display. Bold and delicate, intense and soothing, a profusion of sparkling Himalayan crystal quartz prisms captures the light from every direction and concentrates it into a slender vase of polished bronze just large enough to hold the stem of a single rose. Each crystal point contrasts with the smooth, rounded petals unfurling above and amplifies the intention of this most enduring symbol of true love. A pool of bronze, the metal of vitality, is polished to a high sheen, the better to reflect the purity of the gems floating on its surface.

Quartz crystals are found on every continent on Earth, but it is those mined by hand from the vast Himalayan mountain range that contain the highest of spiritual powers. In Hinduism, Mount Meru is the center of the physical, metaphysical, and spiritual universes and the home of deities Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva. Its earthly counterpart, Meru Peak, is equally revered, and nearly impossible to scale. Beneath the craggy peaks, quartz crystals have been steeped in the mystical power of Mount Meru for millions of years. Miners carry them out in packs, wrapped in layers of fabric to protect the clusters from damage. Unlike their rock crystal counterparts, these clear stones are not to be programmed with personal intentions—they provide the purest form of enlightenment and channel the ultimate love and energy of the universe.

Bronze is often associated with fire because of its reddish color and its physical origins. Ancient Sumerians used copper- and tin-rich rocks to build campfire rings. As the stones became heated, the metals melted and mixed, forming this world-changing metal. Bronze brought a new sense of value to the ancient world. It takes on the properties of both copper, the conduit between Heaven and Earth, and the sensual and electrifying tin. In addition, bronze is thought to enhance courage and bring good luck.

Make a powerful statement with this eternal ode to the heart’s deepest connection.

The bud vase comes with a single white rose.
