Description
An unusual pair of French ormolu and patinated bronze "Military" candlesticks, circa 1850.
Very finely cast with weaponry - pistols, guns, rifles, and shotguns, swords, knives and flags. The grenadier helmets removing to reveal a candle socket.
Extremely good quality, rare and unusual model.
Measures: 15" high x 6" diameter
Provenance: Acquired from Etienne Levy, Paris, 1986.
