Vintage Blown Glass Bulbous Demijohn Carboy in Emerald Green

Description
Graceful antique French demijohn / carboy originally used for transporting wine (ca. early 19th Century, France). Composed of mouth blown glass with emerald hue exhibiting trapped air bubbles within the glass itself with a sheared lip and applied ring.
Appealing, large, bulbous form, measuring roughly 17.38" Diameter x 24"H.
Dark emerald green color is best reflected in the last images of the neck (appears lighter in the overall shots than it is in person).
Chipping present to the base's edge, mostly contained within the glass itself -- barely visible when upright, and won't expand.
Otherwise in good, vintage condition with only minimal interior wear from use, as shown. -
