Description
French Demijohn / Carboy originally used for transporting wine (early 20th Century, France).
Composed of attractive amber free-blown glass exhibiting trapped air bubbles within the glass itself with an applied, un-sheared thick ring.
Very good, vintage condition with minimal exterior scuffing along with light interior soiling/spotting from use.
There are a couple of deep lines toward the base that result from the glass being melded together (not damage).
Both the interior and exterior of the piece have been thoroughly cleaned.

Origin: France Period: 1900-1919 Materials: blown glass Condition: Good. Good condition given its age. It has been cleaned, but light wear remains (scratches to the neck's interior along with a couple of spots). There are a couple of deep lines toward the base that result from the glass being melded together (not damage).
