Visually stunning steel and brass slanted coat rack, ca. 1970s Italy.
Composed of an angled steel column/pole supporting a brass demilune top rack with a perforated surface and 'crown' border of cut triangular and trapezoidal 'hooks' for hanging scarfs and coats above an eight-slotted brass umbrella holder.
Triangular base houses a metal perforated insert, furthering the geometric component of the design.
Rich patina to the metal 'grid' insert and steel base and some scuffs to the central pole, along with spots of tarnish/scuffs to the brass. Overall, very good, vintage condition.
Sourced in Naples, Italy.
