Description
All original cast iron doorstop "Woman in Hoop Skirt With Fan" was manufactured by Waverly Studios in Wilmette, Illinois, Circa 1925., It is in excellent condition; completely original with no restoration and in original paint, with an aqua colored dress highlighted in red roses; a red fan; and white skin tones. The back is cream colored and embossed with "Trade Mark WS Patent Applied For" (see image). The doorstop is referenced in "The Doorstop Book" by John and Nancy Smith on page #184.
